[With all the changes going on this week so far, Simon would normally not be puzzled to awaken and find himself suddenly enormous (in comparison to his usual size, anyway). Instead, he peers around a bedroom he doesn't recognize, brows furrowing for a little while before his eyes abruptly widen. He kicks off the bed, grabbing his journal on the way and hurrying to the window to open it and peer outside.

Yep, familiar. Just as familiar as the blue wings he spots on his back. His journal opens immediately, and-]

Luceti- this is Luceti, isn't it? I'm back again...

[Every seven years, huh. How strange. ...Wait. Is he still...?]

[That's a familiar voice. Anise is more used to a tinier version, but she met older Simon just a few months ago didn't she? ... He was kind of a jerk then, which makes her hesitant to speak up, but...]

"Again"? [what. didn't she just see the kid last week?] Simon, that's you isn't it?

[Speaking of familiar voices - and faces - Simon knows what one, even if it has been a long time since he heard it. And... she's older too, isn't she?]

Again, huh... [His memories of his other, alternate self are vague at best, but now that she mentions it, it's a clearer picture. And an unpleasant one.] I could say the same about you, too. I'm different this time, though.

[She just gives him a wary glance through the journal camera.]

Different, huh? I hope you are, anyway. [Though she can certainly see the difference, he smiles a lot more easily now, than his last olderself did... Not that she'll mention that.]

Sorry about before. I don't know what happened to make that other me so angry, but... that wasn't who I'm supposed to be.

Supposed to be? [What a weird way to put it. Anise shrugs]

No big. It was an experiment anyway, so if it was anyone's fault, it'd be the crazy guys in charge around here. [Never mind that this is an experiment, too.]

[ You wouldn't have needed the journal, Simon. Seeing as you guys live in the same apartment.

Kamina had been in the kitchen, but the voice is all he needs to hear before he drops what he's doing - literally. A toast and jam sandwich is on the floor in seconds. ]

[ Then he's LUNGING out of the kitchen, sprinting down the hall, LUNGING into the room and--

[ It takes just a second to work its way to the surface, but it is there. That big, happy smile.




He'll always be happy to see Simon, no matter what. ]

[The noise catches Simon's attention at once, and he spins around, just as shocked until he finally shares Kamina's grin. It's been more than two weeks for him, and the Kamina he'd met in the Anti-Spiral's trap had been a ghost or a memory at best. This... this was really Kamina.]

[ Strides into the room, planting himself right in front of Simon, then subsequently planting his hands on his hips to look him up and down. ]

It has to be the boots, right? Why you get to be taller.

[Simon can't resist a little chuckle at that. That's a familiar line. And Kamina's lack of surprise... seems to indicate that he's seen Simon in this state before.

So he's from that time. Impressive that he was able to keep it a secret like that. Then again, Kamina's always been the master of distractions.]

Sorry, but I got taller on my own. Even without the boots, I'm still a few inches above you.

[The difference in his tone probably makes it obvious that he's different; he studies Raine for a moment, then brightens as the name comes to mind.] Raine! You're still here, as well.

It's an experiment again. It must have pulled you in from a later time... there are a lot of strange things going on at once.

Do you think this could be temporary? [That's weird... how can someone be an adult, remember bring one and growing up, and then just become a child again? Still, it happened before...]

I knew they were turning some people into kids, but I didn't know they were making them older, too.
