[With all the changes going on this week so far, Simon would normally not be puzzled to awaken and find himself suddenly enormous (in comparison to his usual size, anyway). Instead, he peers around a bedroom he doesn't recognize, brows furrowing for a little while before his eyes abruptly widen. He kicks off the bed, grabbing his journal on the way and hurrying to the window to open it and peer outside.

Yep, familiar. Just as familiar as the blue wings he spots on his back. His journal opens immediately, and-]

Luceti- this is Luceti, isn't it? I'm back again...

[Every seven years, huh. How strange. ...Wait. Is he still...?]

... You're older again.

Again, huh... [His memories of his other, alternate self are vague at best, but now that she mentions it, it's a clearer picture. And an unpleasant one.] I could say the same about you, too. I'm different this time, though.

[She just gives him a wary glance through the journal camera.]

Different, huh? I hope you are, anyway. [Though she can certainly see the difference, he smiles a lot more easily now, than his last olderself did... Not that she'll mention that.]

Sorry about before. I don't know what happened to make that other me so angry, but... that wasn't who I'm supposed to be.

Supposed to be? [What a weird way to put it. Anise shrugs]

No big. It was an experiment anyway, so if it was anyone's fault, it'd be the crazy guys in charge around here. [Never mind that this is an experiment, too.]

Heh- they're as convenient a target as ever. Either way, it's good to see you again.

I'd say the same, but I saw you just a few days ago. [She didn't even notice he was gone! ... If he went home, anyway. Did he? Or was this part of the experiment too? S-so confusing gdi Malnosso.]

It's only been a few days? [Now that does make it kind of suspicious. He should probably be worried about that, but... he can't really bring himself to be. A chance to see old friends, people that - to his recollection - he hasn't seen for years? He's not going to complain.]

At most, I figure. I saw you down by the school, recently.

That's hard to believe. For me it's been seven years. [Then again, what can you do but shrug and say, "That's Luceti"?]

Seven years... [Woah. She smiles through the camera.]

You really are all grown up, huh? Wish I could get a better look at you.

Maybe we could meet up somewhere. I'm a lot taller than I used to be.

Sounds like a date. [Heh.]

How does down by the plaza sound?

[Heh indeed.] I'll be there.

[And assuming this conversation takes place after he spazzes with Kamina for a while, he'll be off for the plaza ASAP.]

[Whenever that is, he'll find her waiting by the fountain. Dressed warm and idly playing with the end of her scarf, because it's getting way cold these days.]

[He hasn't picked up any winter clothes yet, so he probably stands out in his outfit. At least his coat is buttoned up; he's not ~~Kamina~~ crazy. Spotting her, he picks up the pace to meet her, hand lifting.]

Anise?

[He does stand out, in those clothes. And that height. Older!Anise doesn't get all that tall, so he's got quite a few inches over her.]

Hey, Simon.

[It's good to see her again, even if she is older and shorter. ...Well, shorter than he is, anyway.]

You haven't changed much from how I remember you. [More or less; assuming she's going through the same experiment as before, she won't remember being the same age as he used to be. Luceti really is a weird place.]

Oh, and how do you remember me? Everyone keeps saying I'm supposed to be a tiny little thing.

I remember both, though my memory of the younger you is a lot better. The only time I can remember meeting you like this is when I was older than this. [And a jerk. But he'd rather not remember that bit.]

[She remembers that, is the thing. He was a huge jerk, and now here he is being friendly and nice and almost exactly like the Simon she remembers. Except older and taller and more confident and... older. yes.]

That's not a surprise. People are talking about a younger me again, just like that time. [A shrug.] Another experiment, I guess. So not much has changed, obviously.

Business as usual in Luceti, then. [Sigh. The trouble with Luceti is that you can never really be sure of anything, can you? Who you are, who you were, who you're supposed to be... it's all a mess.]

[Anise just shrugs.] They're consistent like that. At least this one doesn't seem to be hurting anyone. I don't think anyone's hurt, anyway.

That's a relief. It's too tiresome, having to sit back and watch while people suffer. I don't think I can do it this time.

[He's already decided he wants to check out the barrier, see if hisvastly-improved Spiral power might somehow break it down. His specialty was tearing through walls, after all.]

[This might take a bit of getting used to, Simon being all grown up and confident and more sure of himself. And yet she feels like he isn't all that different.]

You got something planned? You know there still isn't very much we can actually do around here, right?
