[With all the changes going on this week so far, Simon would normally not be puzzled to awaken and find himself suddenly enormous (in comparison to his usual size, anyway). Instead, he peers around a bedroom he doesn't recognize, brows furrowing for a little while before his eyes abruptly widen. He kicks off the bed, grabbing his journal on the way and hurrying to the window to open it and peer outside.

Yep, familiar. Just as familiar as the blue wings he spots on his back. His journal opens immediately, and-]

To be another one of the Malnosso's unwilling guinea pigs again, maybe? [She smiles wryly, before shaking her head. Not exactly the most enjoyable topic, that.]

I guess that's true, but no one wants to admit it. I just finished a lot of fighting for freedom- starting another war sounds tiring.

Fighting for freedom? ["another" war?] Just what've you been up to for the last seven years?

A few things, I guess. Nothing big.

Sure doesn't sound like it. [She shrugs.] But I won't pry. [Even if she really really wants to. Anise is as nosy as ever, but she has some measure of restraint! ... Some.]

[Normally he'd be fine with telling her, but in part it would sound like a boast (how else would one explain how they saved the entire universe with a mecha the size of several galaxies), and it would be difficult to discuss the issue without bringing Nia into the picture. And he... really isn't prepared to talk about her yet.]

Other than that, there really isn't much else different around here. Still as boring as ever, except when there's an experiment going on, like now. Then everything goes to hell.

Huh, I suppose it is. You don't think the Malnosso have some sort of ulterior motive, do you?

Do they ever not? As far as I can remember, they've always had their reasons for doing these things.

[She's still trying to put together the thought that he was a little kid like, yesterday, gdi.]

Their reasons didn't always make sense, though. Still, I don't think I'd mind if we met up like this more often.

I wouldn't mind either, definitely. [He laughs lightly.] You know, I had a big crush on you back then.

Really, now? [She giggles. ... Older Anise does not giggle, what even.] That's cute. You were such a sweet kid, I wouldn't have minded.

I never figured you for the type to complain about small stuff like this. [And she's really cute when she giggles.]
