[Open musings, no hacking needed]
So many people have changed again... and a lot of them have gone back to normal. I guess it was expected, considering most Malnosso experiments last about a week, but--
...why... am I still here?
Or more importantly, why am I still this age?
I thought I'd be sent back for sure. Is... this how I'll be from now on?
Should I be happy or what...?
[ooc: Simon's still 28 of course! Strikes hackable. Computer geek Simon is not.]

Well then, maybe we need to take a chance and just believe in people I doubt many of us want to stay here.

[Out of the corner of his eye he spots the drill on the grass and picks it up with a noise of surprise.] Hey, it's fixed! When did that happen?
[Action]
[Simon blinks, then presses a hand to his forehead, suppressing a groan. Maybe Cloud isn't the best one to help him with this plan right now.]
I fixed it a few minutes ago.

Spiral power.
[Action]
You told me this already, didn't you?
[Action]
Yeah, I did, but that's alright. Maybe you should start writing things down.
[Action]
[He fidgets for a moment, sheepish and kind of embarrassed.] I'm sorry if it ends up getting on your nerves. I know it's annoying.
[Action]
[Simon smiles, reaching out to lope an arm playfully around Cloud's shoulders, still amused that he'd grown taller than both Kamina and his own father.]
Don't worry about it! It's not like it's your fault. And it's not that big of a deal to remind you when you forget things.

[Simon is wise enough not to ruffle Cloud's hair, even teasingly. That's probably too much.]

[Simon grins playfully, lifting a brow.]
That's how I do it, Papa.
[Action]
It was almost like being a father and being an observer at the same time. Cloud didn't like it.]

I can't go until Sephiroth is taken care of.
[Action]
What if he's back to normal, now? He hasn't attacked again, and his sword his broken. Can we at least try talking to him?
[Action]

[Action]
[Cloud presses his fingers to his forehead before shaking it and heading back for the house.]
I don't want to talk about it. I can't go until I make sure everything's settled, whether I have to kill him or not.
[Action]
Won't he just come back?
[Action]
[Cloud doesn't even pause as he opens the door and lets it fall shut behind him.]
