[Cuts in abruptly to a long, wailing scream, the sound thick with pain and fear. After a few moments the sound stops abruptly, replaced by shuffling footsteps and the sounds of a struggle, first drawing closer, then further away. A long silence follows, before the scream starts up again, this time from further away. In the background, there is an odd sound of metal grinding. Finally, the sound cuts off completely.]

[ooc: Event Part 2! The darkness hasn't gone anywhere, but the lazy rain has now intensified, becoming a rather dangerous thunderstorm. The darkest clouds have wandered to the center of the village, and the rivers are getting uppity. No flooding yet, but the risk is there. Watch your step if you go out.

Considering he finally sorta got a grip on Filial lightning magic, would it be okay if he sorta... uses the thunder storm to his advantage? Nothing big, or anything. Just lightning striking a few trees and causing a fire, maybe?]]
