[Sob, and he was just taken. The chance of him being brought back so soon... even Kamina isn't that lucky. He's just desperately hoping he doesn't get sent home.]

[Simon's a little drowsy today; he's spent the last night and day hunting around for his bro, so he's cold, tired, and more than a little depressed. He'll be staggering back to C7 early this morning, don't mind him.

[Ion had seen that kidnapping post. And so soon after a close friend is sent home... poor Simon.]

I'll keep an eye out for him. [A pause.] ...are you all right, Simon?

[Ah... there's a voice he knows he can rely on for comfort.]

I don't know... I'm just worried about him right now.

Where are you right now? Would you mind some company?

[Because obviously Ion wants to come give some of that comfort. Simon shouldn't have to be alone right now.]

I'm heading home now, if... you want to meet me there. [Normally he would just visit Ion himself, since he knows the other boy can be awfully frail, but he's so exhausted he's not sure he'd make it that far.]

Then I'll see you in a few minutes. [Or longer, seeing as C7 was a bit of a ways away from House 1...]

[But on that note:] ...which building is it again?

Oh, um, sorry. [It didn't really occur to him that the one he loves has never visited him. How strange.] It's the 7th building- the one by the plaza. My room is the first one.

[And Ion can't believe he's never visited the one he loves!] Seventh building, first room... all right, I should be there soon.

[And he does get there rather quickly! He might have walked a bit faster than he should have, but... well, Simon was worth it. He doesn't know whether he got there before Simon managed to return, but he'll be knocking as soon as he gets there anyway.]

[Simon had flopped on the couch while he waited for Ion to arrive, but when he hears the knock he drags himself off to open the door for Ion.

And then proceeds to blink blearily. Is that Ion? Bwuuuuuuh.]

[Aww, Simon, if you're that tired you should be resting! ...never mind that Ion is the reason he isn't.]

[Details!]

Good morning, Simon. I'm sorry it took so long for me to get here... [It took, like, a whole 15 minutes. And that is just inexcusable.] May I come in?

Mm... morning. [Simon rubs idly at his eyes, then reaches out to take Ion by the hand, tugging him inside so he can shut the door. And hopefully make it back to the couch before collapsing or something.] It's okay, you shouldn't push yourself.

I should be the one saying that to you.

[He's not letting go of that hand anytime soon, even after he makes sure Simon gets to the couch safely.] Did you stay out all night?

[Simon doesn't mind, tugging Ion to sit with him. There's room for two after all.]

I wanted to look for him... but that's all I found. [With his free hand, he points to the massive katana on the kitchen table.]

[Oh, of course Ion is sitting right beside Simon. Just in case the other boy is tired and wants to lean on him or something.

[He glances at the sword as Simon points it out. He frowns, but when he turns back to Simon, it's with a comforting smile.]

I'm sure he'll be fine, Simon. [He reaches over and puts a hand on Simon's shoulder.] He is Kamina, after all... right?

[It takes a moment or so, but Simon does finally slump over, shoulder against Ion's.]

Yeah... Kamina's always okay. I don't know how he does it.

He's strong. [Gently squeezing Simon's hand.] Just like someone else I know.

[kjhdslkjlkf.] I... I'm not strong. Not like him...

[Shaking his head.] That's not true. I think there's more to strength than just being physically strong.

You're very strong, Simon.

[Simon relents then, too tired to argue, and a little smile crosses his lips. He snuggles a little closer to Ion, just glad that he's here.]

I can only be strong... when I have someone important to me close by.

[Well, that's just going to make him blush.]

[Ion doesn't reply, but he does wrap his arm around Simon's shoulders, fully enjoying the closeness.]

[Yesss, cuddling, get. Simon's usually pretty shy, but being tired and so close already, he just makes himself comfortable and lets himself doze a little. It's nice... spending this time with Ion. It makes the pain of losing Anise and missing Kamina so close together that much more bearable.]

[While Simon is dozing off, Ion starts idly playing with a few strands of his hair.]

You can take a nap if you're tired, Simon. [Smile.] I'll still be here for you when you wake up.

Mm... okay. Thanks, Ion... you're always helping me. [Which is about all he can manage before he curls up closer and drifts off to sleep completely. He'll be napping for a good long while, so hopefully Ion is comfortable enough.]

[Ion's comfortable enough with Simon resting on him like this. And even if he weren't, a little discomfort is a small price to pay for helping Simon cheer up.]

[If Simon sleeps long enough, eventually Ion will fall asleep as well, becoming progressively more cuddly as time goes on.]

[...hopefully they don't fall off the couch.]

[He usually isn't too keen on replying to journal entries buuut he decides to help the poor boi out.]

I visit the forest frequently. If I come across him, I shall let you know. [Oh, but how does he KNOW Kamina!? =O ... By reading the journals mostly.]
