Very well. Since you asked, I suppose I can manage to explain. The most common of scientific fields focus primarily on research into a number of topics - these topics can range anywhere from research into the mysteries of life to research into the solar system, although they're hardly limited to just those. You could call us a form of researcher, if that makes more sense.
