[She stared at the animal with interest, and after a moments hesitation, gently took Boota into her hands. Nia gave the molepig a chaste pet on the head, and when he replied with a small, encouraging nudge, a smile broke out onto her face.] He's so cute!

[Then Nia cocked her head in a mixture of curiousity and confusion.] Can you tell me what he is? [She actually didn't quite catch it back when Simon was older (Nia doesn't seem to have any qualms with two differently-aged Simons. To her, he's the same no matter what).]

[Simon lowered his hands as Nia took Boota, listening with a smile as Boota made a contented sound. Good, he knew Boota would like her!] Boota is a molepig! A really little one, though. Usually they get a lot bigger.
