Hey Papa! And everyone at home, I guess... I found a couch outside, and it's really, really comfy! And you can bounce on it! I dunno why it's outside though... it feels nice... who would leave a nice couch like this?

A-anyway! Can we keep it? It can fit inside, right?

Maybe we could get Uncle Zack to sit with us in the living room so he's not stuck in his bed all the time?

[At least only one of the huggers is a girl, Cloud. ...then again, you might be distracted if it was Tifa instead of Zack hugging you.]

[With Aerith hugging Cloud, he might feel more than hear her quiet laugh, but she says seriously enough:] It's okay to cry, you'll feel better. [She's clinging onto Cloud a little herself with one hand, and the other's reaching out towards Zack; she wants the contact herself, to know that both of them are with her and even if all of them aren't fine, at least they're healing.]

[It's like a support group, almost. Well, in the sole meaning of the words it definitely is, but- Anyway, no number of "it's okay"s will make crying okay with Cloud, so he cuts that shit out as quickly as possible. Crying doesn't fix things; didn't when he was a kid, doesn't now.

He pulls back and- tries to run away to the bathroom again.]

[Okay he feels better. He does give himself a firm look in the mirror and pats his cheeks though; no more feeling sorry for yourself, mister. A quick check -his eyes are still red but there isn't much he can do about that- confirms that he doesn't look like a pathetic weepy mess anymore, so he heads back out and jerks his thumb over his shoulder.]

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want me making you dinner anyhow. [Cloud...really does not want to leave Zack now that he's awake and okay -thank Holy again he's all right- but he doesn't want to smother anyone, either. Choices.]

[Zack's cleaning up, Cloud's got his own thing to do--Aerith's just tired, and Zack already knows that, so she's going to head off to bed.] Night, Cloud.

[Cloud returns the gesture, nodding as Aerith heads off to her room before having a seat on the armrest of their new couch. He looks at it for a bit before patting one of the cushions lightly.]
